We seek out used solvents that can be either processed to produce high quality recovered solvents that can be re-sold onto the market or we produce thinners. Our services provide a cost effect solution when managing used solvent wastes.

Tradebe offers a full solvent recovery service from collecting the waste using our purpose built fleet of vehicles, through to the solvent recovery and solvent sales. We have a highly trained logistics team that have many years of experience in the safe transport of hazardous waste.

We are fully registered carriers of hazardous waste and manage all necessary waste transportation documents. Our purpose built plants include fractional and flash distillation facilities.

Manchester with Tradebe as a project partner.

Solvents that are suitable for solvent recovery include:

  • Non-halogenated solvents: 
    • Alcohols (Isopropanol, Methanol, Ethanol, etc.)
    • Ketones(MEK, MIBK, etc.)
    • Ethers (THF, MeTHF, etc.) 
    • Esters (Ethyl Acetate, etc.)
    • ...
  • Halogenated solvents:

    • MCB (Mono Chloro Benzene)

The residues that remain after the solvent recovery is processed and blended to create an alternative secondary liquid fuel called Cemfuel. This fuel can be used to fire kilns within the cement and lime industry, which reduces the dependency on fossil fuels.
